UniKey is free and open source software, whose first version was released in 1999, which allows you to write more comfortably in Vietnamese. The program's core, UniKey Vietnamese Input Method, is so popular that it is integrated into most software keyboards for Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS, and Linux operating systems.
Very easy to use
To start using UniKey, you just need to unzip the executable file in any folder on your PC. The program does not need to be installed, so as soon as you run it, it will open in a small window that you can minimize in the notification bar. With a single click, you can turn the Vietnamese writing mode on and off from the notification bar.
A wide range of options
In UniKey, you will find several configuration options. First, you will find three different input methods (IME): TELEX, VNI, and VIQR, which you can switch between with a single click. Similarly, you will also have a choice of Vietnamese character sets, including VNI, VPS, VISCII, BK HCM1, or BK HCM2. You decide which one suits you best. Thanks to the program's simplicity, you can quickly switch between them.
