Yandere Simulator

Yandere Simulator is a stealth and action game with RPG aspects, where you play a very jealous high school student (the Yandere who gives the game its name), who is willing to do anything to be close to her beloved (her senpai). And of course, "anything" also includes murdering any rival who stands in the way of the inevitable love with her senpai.

Two different game modes

Yandere Simulator has two different campaigns or stories. One is the adventure starring Ryoba Aishi, which is set in the year 1989. In this game mode, which is now finished, you'll be able to do away with 10 opponents standing between you and your senpai. And the other is the most well-known game mode starring Ayano Aishi, which is set in the year 2026. The goal in this game mode is to also get rid of all the rivals that get in our way, although it hasn't been finished yet.

Design and customize your senpai

The first thing you can do when you start playing Yandere Simulator is to design the appearance of the character that yours is in love with. First, you can choose whether you want them to be a boy or a girl. Then you can choose from various skin colors, dozens of hairstyles, glasses, facial hair and much more. And finally, you can choose from half a dozen different uniforms. This way, each time you play the game the experience will be slightly different from the one before.

An entire city to explore

Almost all the action in Yandere Simulator takes place inside the high school, where you can interact with lots of students. You'll have the chance to talk to the other characters in the game to improve your reputation and to also find out information about your senpai. You can even complete special missions for students and get rewards. In addition to moving freely around the school, which is huge and full of secrets, you can also visit the city, go shopping and even spend time at home and customize your room.

Tons of rivals to compete with

Each of the two game modes has its own group of rivals that you'll have to eliminate. The 1980 mode opponents are Sumire Saitozaki, Kuguya Wakaizumi, Moeko Rakuyona, Honami Hodoshima, Sumiko Tachibana, Ritsuko Chikanari, Ai Doruyashi, Teiko Nabatasai, Komako Funakoshi, Chigusa Busujima and Sonoko Sakanoue. Eliminating each rival will require a good plan if you want to do so without being discovered. The 2020 mode opponents, although not yet fully defined, include Osana Najimi, Amai Odayaka and the invincible Megami Saikou.

Only available for PC

Although there are many similar games on other platforms, Yandere Simulator is only available on PC. There is no Yandere Simulator for Android or PlayStation 4, and there are no plans to release these versions in the works. There are, however, many Yandere Simulator mods. In the game's Wiki, you'll find links to loads of different kinds of mods that will allow you to introduce more rivals, add different skins, change the behavior of some students and much more.
