DBZ Budokai 3 HD Collection is a PC port of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 that allows the classic fighting game to run natively on Windows without an emulator or BIOS. The project uses a static recompilation approach and does not include the original game assets, so you need to provide your own game disc or compatible ISO.
Two Game Modes
DBZ Budokai 3 HD Collection supports Disc Mode and Extracted Folder Mode. Disc Mode lets you run the game directly with the ISO placed in the appropriate folder and does not require installation, but it does not support mods. Extracted Folder Mode extracts files from the ISO, requires additional storage space, and enables mod support.
HD Improvements and Gameplay
The PC version retains the original Budokai Tenkaichi 3 gameplay while adding higher-resolution graphics, improved textures, and smoother performance. The game includes more than 180 characters and transformations, with support for both single-player and local multiplayer gameplay.
Mod Support
Extracted Folder Mode allows compatible mods to be installed and used with the game. Mods can add or modify characters, skins, and other game content.
DBZ Budokai 3 HD Collection provides a native Windows version of the classic Dragon Ball fighting game with improved graphics, multiple game modes, and support for community-created modifications.
